This past Saturday, I graduated alongside Katie Blake—the inspiration behind the name and mission of Peace of Love Cookie Co. It was the perfect end to our school years and an exciting beginning of a new chapter.

With graduation comes change. After five years of doing what I love—making cookies that help celebrate life’s milestones—a little thing called college is going to force me to step away from cookies. But first, I want to say thank you.

First and foremost, I give thanks to the Lord for blessing me with a gift that’s allowed me to connect with and celebrate so many people. I’m humbled He chose me to be a small part of others’ special moments.

To Mom and Dad-Thank you for letting me take over the kitchen, covering it in flour and sugar. Thank you for instilling values of hard work and servitude in our family. Thank you for cheering me on, helping me when I accepted WAY too many orders, and having pride in me no matter how many cookies I made. Thank you for teaching me that my value isn’t in how much work I do but the heart behind it.

To my customers—thank you. Your unwavering support has meant the world. Thank you for loving my cookies, my mission, and for being patient with my high school schedule 😅. Because of you, I’ve been able to give back to the community over and over. There is no Peace of Love Cookie Co. without you.

As for the future—if you’re on my calendar, you’re staying there 😁. I hope to keep baking during summers, but emails might take a few extra days as I adjust to college life.

This fall, I’m heading to NC State to study Business Administration—ready to grow in what I already love.

With that, I’ll leave you with what running this business has taught me- Always be kind. Serve others. Make people feel seen, comfortable and safe.

This December, I was super thankful for the opportunity to donate to The Children’s Hospital of Richmond! With the help of my awesome friends, we were able to donate about 30 stuffed animals to children who spent their holiday in the hospital. This would not have been possible without the help of my sweet friends who continue to help me give back to the community.

Additionally, because of so many amazing customers who continue to support me, we were able to donate over 30 gift cards to 30 different families whose holidays looked a lot different this year. The gift cards were distributed to families who demonstrated financial need, and provided them with a meal. Thank YOU for making their lives just a little bit easier.

I’ve said it a bunch (8 times now) and I will continue to say it; I am just completely overwhelmed and grateful for the continuous support I recieve each and every year. Cookies have taught me so much about myself and what is important to me, and I feel as though my cookies have grown up alongside me. Thank you for continuing to allow me to create special treats that are a part of such big milestones, celebrations and memories. My cup truly overflows!

The Lord is so good and I can’t wait to see what He has in store for 2025!

Since starting Peace of Love Cookie Co., it has been my mission to help people celebrate their differences and make the world a little bit more accepting than it was before. It’s hard to believe that I am entering my fourth year of making cookies and announcing my seventh donation.

I have had the privilege of going to YoungLife camp 3 summers in a row. It is at camp that my relationship with the Lord truly became real and personal to me, and my life has not been the same since. I know of the best news in the world… and I feel like I have to share it!

YoungLife has provided me with many communities and opportunities to grow in my faith, but one of the most special things about my YoungLife experience has been my time spent in Capernaum, the special needs ministry. Getting to love on and teach my friends about the good news of Jesus has been one of the most eye opening experiences.

The opportunity to experience a YoungLife camp and start my relationship with the Lord was the best gift I have ever received. I feel so humbled that we get to give that experience to others. With that being said, WE will be sending 2 students from Hanover County Capernaum to summer camp at Rockbridge.

Words cannot describe just how blessed I feel to have a job that allows me to give back to the community. I am still in awe of the generous support I continue to receive year after year. This is so much more than cookies to me; it’s an opportunity to serve our community TOGETHER. So thank you, thank you, thank YOU for your continuous support and love you all have shown me.

2023!!! my biggest year yet, thanks to the support of so many customers 🤗

at the beginning of this year, i was so grateful for the opportunity to donate to Sportable, a company that creates opportunities for people with disabilities to play sports. i am so thankful that i got to participate in making the world a more accessible and loving place for people with disabilities :)

as for my donation for the past 6 months, i decided to purchase toys to donate to Toys for Tots, a program run by the United States Marine Corps, that distributes toys to families who otherwise would not be able to provide a Christmas for their children.

a BIG thanks to my sweet friends, who kindly donated toys out of the goodness of their hearts. i could not have done this without you! you have given so many kids a christmas that they will never forget.

overall, i am feeling such overwhelming gratitude for your continuous support of this little cookie adventure. these donations are a direct result of YOUR support and love! i could not have done it without your support!
